This is where the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) comes into the picture. As part of the Green Deal, this European measure emphasizes transparency and accountability.

Developments due to European legislation

ESG

The guideline ensures that the quality and transparency of sustainability plans increase and thus contribute to a sustainable society. The CSRD has three themes: environment (Environmental), social (Social) and business operations (Governance). This ESG reporting covers, among other things, equal opportunities, integrity, a safe working environment, riskmanagement, succession planning and training opportunities.

CSRD and the impact on chain information
Although listed and large companies are the first to report on sustainability & innovation, other organizations and institutions such as healthcare organizations, housing associations and small companies are just as likely to have to deal with the CSRD because they are chain partners or suppliers. Sustainability information may be requested or requirements may be imposed through contractual obligations.

Our services

Through our collaboration with Dutch Carbon Consultants, we can offer you a full service in the field of CSRD. Consider calculating the CO2 footprint or guiding your company with certification on the CO2 performance ladder. We are able to calculate the environmental impact of your product or service over its entire lifespan and throughout the chain. This ‘life-cycle analysis’ ensures that the impact of products can be effectively compared, in order to make a well-founded decision.

You can also contact us for a CSRD readiness check and a CSRD implementation process. During a CSRD readiness check, we use the ESRSs to determine to what extent your organization is already ready for the CSRD. We express this as a percentage of 0-100 based on the the work still to be expected.

During the implementation, we fully assist you in implementing, fleshing out and drawing up sustainability reports in line with the CSRD. This way you can be sure that everything goes well!
